Barca-Leeds recognise that slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking (modern slavery) is a serious crime being committed across the UK in which victims are exploited for someone else’s gain. As such we are committed to working with local partners to improve our practice in combatting slavery and human trafficking and to raise awareness, disrupt and respond to modern slavery.
We are committed to ensuring that there is a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery of any kind within our operations and supply chain. Therefore, our combined Modern Slavery Statement & Policy seeks to expand and develop on our continuing commitment to tackle modern slavery.
We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our business and our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, in accordance with our obligation of disclosure in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We expect the same high standards from all of our suppliers, contractors and other business partners.
We have a Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy which applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity. This includes all levels of employees or workers including directors, agency workers, seconded workers, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives and business partners. Please contact us if you would like a copy of this policy.
