The Wellbeing Café is a group for young people aged 11 to 16 focussed on developing positive emotional wellbeing.

Who is the service for?

Self and professional referral accepted.

Please complete a referral form or contact Hannah Poklad or Hannah Easton for more details.

The group runs from Manor House, 259 Upper Town St, Bramley, Leeds LS13 3JT on Wednesday at 4pm to 6pm and is supported by youth workers who facilitate a range of activities including arts and crafts, self-care and positive activities.

A qualified counsellor is available during the group for children and young people to access for one-to-one brief intervention support – the counsellor can also be accessed by children and young people who do not want to attend the group. It will be assumed that parent/carer consent to their child accessing counselling unless we are informed otherwise. Please contact us should you wish to discuss.

Parents can also access support through an informal chat, signposting or more structured support through a referral to our Rediscover adult counselling project.

Read the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) ethical framework.
