Building Bridges

Building Bridges is in partnership with LS14 Trust and GIPSIL and supports the mental health needs of young people transitioning into adulthood through 6 to 8 weekly groups and one-to-one support.

Who is the service for?

Referral criteria

If you're aged 16 to 24 and would like to join our Building Bridges group you can self-refer, please call or send a message to Laura Minney on: 07587 035 313.

Referrals can also be made directly to our Children and Young Person's team at Barca-Leeds, download a referral form and return it to: cypreferrals@barca-leeds.org

Building Bridges is in partnership with LS14 Trust and GIPSIL and supports the mental health needs of young people transitioning into adulthood through 6 to 8 weekly groups and one-to-one support.

The project provides:

  • a supportive community where young people can connect with peers facing similar challenges.
  • an approach that addresses mental health concerns and also fosters understanding and support for neurodivergent individuals.
  • opportunities for young people to build a social network within a safe and supportive environment.
  • peer support and a sense of community among participants.
  • opportunities to take part in creative activities such as art and music.
